Father Greg Adolf will be one of the speakers at the Kino Symposium on Saturday, Oct, 29, 2022 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Cathedral Square in downtown Tucson. His topic: Padre Kino: Apostle on Horseback.
Fr. Greg is the pastor of St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church in Sierra Vista and a member of the Kino Heritage Society. He graduated in 1970 from the University of Notre Dame and in 1974 from the Lutheran School of Theology-Chicago, and was ordained to the Lutheran ministry. In 1991, he was ordained to the Priesthood for the Diocese of Tucson. Fr. Greg, as a member of the Southwest Mission Research Center, has led tours of Padre Kino’s missions in Sonora for the past 30 years. He is active with the Kino Heritage Society and the Diocese of Tucson in promoting the cause of Padre Kino’s canonization, and gives presentations throughout Arizona to bring awareness of Padre Kino and his place in our region’s history.
